Costume Upload
The costume Viewer in OVERDARE Studio allows you to import costumes, apply them to your character, and conduct testing on them. This enables you to test your costumes and submit them for review. Here's an overview of the process:
OVERDARE Studio is a powerful tool that empowers users to create their own games or costumes and share them with the community.
To upload costumes to OVERDARE, you need to install OVERDARE Studio.
1. Once the installation is complete, click 'Open new Viewer' in the costume Viewer.
2. To upload costumes, click on '+Import' located under 'costumes' in the top right corner, and then select the file to upload.
.fbx files are supported for upload.
3. Select a category for the uploaded costume.
Categories define the specific parts of the avatar to which costumes are applied.
costumes are applied to specific areas, such as the head, upper body, and others. These costumes determine if other costumes get changed or replaced when a specific costume is applied to the area.
4. Under 'Properties', add Materials for the costume.
5. You can utilize the Body Type and Posture features on the left to test and preview how the clothing looks in different poses.
This feature enables you to adjust the character's body shape and posture, allowing you to preview how the clothing will appear in various poses.
6. Click the 'Upload' button under 'Properties' to submit your costume for review.
Clicking on the button will redirect you to the Overdare web page.
You can proceed with the remaining steps of costume creation on the page.
