OVERDARE Monetization Guidelines

OVERDARE is a platform that supports creative and innovative content creators in generating revenue from their work. These guidelines have been prepared to ensure fair and transparent revenue sharing between creators and OVERDARE.

1. Monetization

  • The main current revenue model involves creating and selling Avatar items within the OVERDARE App.

  • Items created and registered by creators in the Creator Hub undergo a review by the operations team. Once approved, they are granted permission to be sold.

  • Creators can check their earnings in the “Payout” section of the Creator Hub, and the amount that can be settled is shown as “Earned BLUC.”

2. Revenue Sharing Structure

2.1 Avatar items

  • OVERDARE distributes revenue from Avatar item sales between the creator and the platform at the following rates:

    • Creator Revenue: 30% of the sale price

    • Platform Fee: 70% of the sale price (includes platform operating and investment costs)

    • Example: If a creator sells an item for 100 BLUC, the creator receives 30 BLUC, and the platform collects 70 BLUC as a platform fee.

2.2 World and World Assets

  • Currently, Worlds and World Assets are offered to users free of charge, and no separate revenue is generated from user visits at this time.

2.3 Other Monetization Models

  • Additional monetization models for user-generated content (UGC) created by creators will be introduced in the future. Once implemented, detailed guidelines on revenue distribution and settlement methods will be provided.

3. How to Generate Revenue

Selling Content

  • After review is completed, creators can set or change the price and quantity of items in “My contents” within the Creator Hub, and they can choose to display or hide the items for sale.

4. Payout Procedures

4.1 Monetization Requirements

  • Age Requirement: Only users aged 13 and older can participate. Minors may be required to submit parental consent forms (legal guardian documentation), ID verification, etc., through a third-party platform (e.g., Stripe) during the monetization process.

  • Minimum Amount: Your OVERDARE account must have at least 5,000 “Earned BLUC” available for settlement.

  • Account Requirement: You must register a Stripe Connect account (OVERDARE-stripe) as a third-party withdrawal platform, which must be bound 1:1 with your OVERDARE account.

  • Exchange Rate: 1 “Earned BLUC” = 0.002 USD(rate may change occasionally)

  • For more details, please refer to the Creator Payout Policy.

5. Withdrawal Fees

  • In addition to the OVERDARE platform fee, transaction fees, currency exchange fees, and other charges from payment processors (e.g., Stripe) may apply. Creators are generally responsible for these fees.

6. Fraudulent Earnings

  • Any earnings (“Earned BLUC”) obtained through content that infringes on the legal rights of others or violates the OVERDARE Creator Terms of Use or Community Guidelines may be deducted without prior notice.

  • Content found to be problematic may be permanently deleted or result in the account being banned, at the discretion of the platform administrators.
