MaterialTextureType is an Enum that defines the types of texture maps used in MaterialVariant. It classifies the various texture types used in PBR rendering.
ColorMap
0
The color map (albedo texture). Contains the base color information of the surface.
MetalnessMap
1
The metalness map. Defines the degree to which the surface reflects like a metal.
NormalMap
2
The normal map. Represents fine surface irregularities without changing the actual geometry.
RoughnessMap
3
The roughness map. Defines the degree to which the surface scatters light.
Max
4
An internal value representing the maximum number of texture types.
